In collaboration with L’Ecole Culinaire, Clayton Farmer's Market presents Iron Chef Clayton Competitions. “Our experienced chefs will take on the competitive challenge of producing a wonderfully tasty dish using the seasonal items the farmers provide,” explains Beth Huch, Career Services Director at L’Ecole Culinaire. “They will be additionally challenged by the outdoor setting of the Farmer’s Market as opposed to working in a well-equipped kitchen.”
Last year in 2007, we hosted two competitions, which you can view the results for below. We look forward to many more exciting Iron Chef Clayton contests in the coming year.
About L’Ecole Culinaire: Located in a two-year old campus in the St. Louis county suburb of Ladue, L’École Culinaire offers an educational opportunity for the career-minded chef. Students experience hands-on learning and career-based instruction with professionals in the St. Louis culinary industry.
